Jumpoleening

It's not raining so why not go burn off some energy!!

More princessy times...

Christmas Cabin

The past couple of years my family has rented a cabin and spent a few days together eating great food, playing games, and watching tons of Christmas movies.  This year we went to a log house by Mayfield Lake and had a great time!  I didn't even take my camera out except to get these two pictures.  :)  It was really neat this year because we all made our presents for each other and it was amazing to see the creativity and diversity of gifts that everyone did.  Love you guys!

Watching movies!

A new resting spot

Bella's likes to camp out underneath the baby's bassinet in our room - she loves making herself a little space with pillow, blanket and her books. She can't wait for baby to get here!

Seahawks!

We went to a Hawks game together 2 weeks ago and Bella was hilarious.  She joined right in screaming and cheering with all the fans, ate a hot dog with cream cheese (yum!), and fell asleep in the middle of the 3rd quarter so Dusty had to carry her all the way back to the car after the game.  That's a LONG walk - she's a big girl now!

What's even better is that last week when she and I were watching the Hawks on Monday night and Dusty was at the game, she was cheering just as loud and kept yelling "That's my guy!! That's my guy!! WOOHOO!" whenever Marshawn Lynch made a play.  :)  Or as she calls him, Marshall Lunch.  At one point she was pouting on the couch crossing her arms and when I asked what was wrong she said "I not happy to watch the game with Daddy." What?? You're sad that Daddy didn't take you to the game tonight? "uh-huh. I not happy."  What a goofball!  The 12th man just got one 2 year old stronger.

Third quarter  :)

Whiss-a-wer

For Christmas this year we got to join James and Hilary and their friends for an awesome weekend at Whistler!  This was our first time there and it was so much fun!  Skiing, playing in the snow, great food, lots of crazy kids....couldn't have been better!  Thank you so much for everything James and Hil!  What great memories we will always have of this fun weekend with you guys!
Can anybody tell me where she learned this super model pose??  :)  Her hat hair is amazing.

She reminded of us Randy from The Christmas Story all weekend with her multiple layers of snow gear.

Mwah!!

Yummy chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick with her cousin Drew!

The kids - what a group!!

Ice cream after bedtime in the freezing cold?  Count us in.

I love my family!

More amazing outfit choices....

Not only does she wear tutus every day, and also sleeps in them at night, but now we are fully accessorizing them with items such as a rubber rain boot (not boots...all we need is one), latex gloves (because obviously those are haute couture), and a "wedding scarf"!   We LOVE this girl!

Mommy & Me

Oh sister.  Anytime I'm on the phone during the day, this little peach is definitely vying for competition and usually has her biggest meltdowns and most urgent "requests" at the same time.
Today I was checking in with Dusty and she just HAD to have her princess dress from her closet RIGHT THEN!
After I hung up, I sat her down and asked (like a hundred times before),
"What do you do when Mommy's on the phone?"  (usually this is followed by a discussion of being quiet and patient), but oh no, today's instant response was "Scream!"  Yep, that's definitely true.

always moving at the speed of light...just a blur for my camera to capture!

Hi Baby Brudder Sister!

Bells is getting SO excited to become a big sister!!
Every morning she asks me "How's baby?  Is baby ok? Is baby growing?"
and I tell her yes, baby is very happy and growing every day.
She talks to baby all during the day and says
"Hi Baby! This is your big sister Bella, I love you. I'll call you later, bye!"  It's so precious!!
She is going to be an amazing big sister and we are so thrilled to be having this baby brudder sister soon....less than 3 more months!
